Here's something I tripped across whist on the Burning Man tribe....

Are you ready for a cheeseburger in a can?

Definitely not a packing lightweight" selection.

Might be good out on the playa, though.

can you post another link? forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php just gives a message that the thread was not found.

          is this better?

if the link does not work just go to the vegetarian and vegan recipe exchange tribe, they have a thread on it....

that worked. :) your first link didn't work because it didn't show live (see?) and tribe had truncated off the "?noseen=1&postid=339037869" part of the path so copy-paste didn't work.

and omg, I don't know what is more funny: the burger in a can or the guy who awesomely tried with play-by-play photos. :)

HAHAHA thats awesome a whole burger in a can!!! I'd buy one of those just for that gag factor (gag as in joke not stomach reflex) In fact I could probably win a bet with something like that!!! Miles from civilization, with little more than a jet boil and a some water from a nearby creek I produce a burger from a can!!! Does anyone know the nutritional value?

The pictures of the ingredients don't seem to indicate nutritional value. I would assume it's about the same as what you would get from Micky D's. If it's sold commerically here in the USA it would have to have nutrional values printed on the can.

I guess we need a backpacking tribe volunteer to go out and obtain a few cans for our next trip. Any takers?

I seriously doubt that the b urger looks anywhere near that good. Also, it'll be unlikely to have crunchy lettuce or pickles. I'd try one just for S&G, but having eaten a few C-Ration & MRE meat patties I think I have an idea what it'll really be like.

              Neat idea though.
